rolex day date

Hi
has anyone had a dial and bezel change on a day date?
I have taken my day date to a local jeweler for a dial and bezel change and it has been there for over 3 months
Does anyone know how long a job like this should take to complete
I have heard people talk about long turn arounds but surely this is a simple job?
many thanks

In my opinion that is absurd. Unless you were told up front about an unusually long wait time, I believe that is well beyond what should be expected.

A dial swap and bezel swap is not a big job at all in the scheme of things. It should not be sitting there that long, unless they can't acquire the parts you need. In which case you should have been told up front.

Day Date

What does the jeweler say? Is he a Rolex AD?

I had it done once at Wempe in NYC and it took about an hour...

3-months even if it included a complete service is unheard of. I would demand my watch back and go elsewhere.

I had to wait three months for a dial RSC Tokyo had to order from Rolex. I kept the watch until the dial arrived and it took a week for RSC to do the dial change. Another time, they had the dial in stock and it took a week.
