Ultimate LV...

I have been pondering the potential to make a bit of a Frankenwatch.

Just a bit of fun really. Would it be possible to put a new Sub strap / clasp on an old style LV head?

To my mind this would be my perfect watch. Robust, Maxi - Dial, machined clasp and slimmer lines (lugs).

Just to clarify I have absolutley no intention of trying to do this at present (but would love to one day!)

Cannot see why not but it would be very expensive even if you could source it from Rolex which I doubt. And in reality a lot of expense for something that does the same job, as the well tested fliplock that you already have.

Yes it can be done. One of our members have done it before and you will need to use the old spring bar with the new bracelet.
