The watch and accessories appear genuine from the photos with a couple red flags.
The watch has the incorrect end links and the bezel insert could be aftermarket, non-original. The clasp on the bracelet appears genuine.

Clasp code DE7=2001 July. Consistent with a K serial watch.

The endlinks on this bracelet, 78790a, appear proper (SEL).
Sold for $3,299. Great price. |

Hello Norm, while the end links are correct for the band, they are not correct for a case with pin holes in the lugs. The correct end links should be solid on the bottom without the cutouts on each side. I guess the whole band is a replacement and non-original to the watch, and is a later series Rolex band for a "no holes" case.

Thanks for all the input on this one guys. $3299 is a great price, but it ended without any bids, and I believe early for whatever reason. Watch with papers and one book, but no box, missing books and holder or tags -- Hmmm Odd to see the watch with papers and not too much else, papers are usually what's missing. I really wonder if they match the serial on the case???
All in all, I was just a bit skeptical with this one and would pass. Thanks, Tim |
