Lived in that country (Mumbai or formerly Bombay) for 50 years...............and now that I'm in NZ, I feel like I got a promotion from Hell to Heaven!! JJ

Am I alone in not minding ever being in a place like that for a brief period in my life.
Puts things into perspective. Like how people on earth live their daily lives. I've seen some poor countries and I never shy away from the experience. And ironically enough, those are the countries with the biggest opportunities for wealth. I know of a few people in my personal life that have amassed huge fortunes in countries such as Haiti and India. JJ, do you know of a company called Tire Group International? They manufacture tires in India. Not sure what province, but the man employes hundreds in the town and is a love person while turning sales in the neighborhood of $70-$80 million. He treats his plant workers better than anyone would think. They feel blessed to work for this guy. He lives here in Miami.

Those dudes sipping tea need to put down their glasses and pick up a broom.
But seriously, I'd love to see India one day: such a rich cultural history. I'll just take my meals at the Hilton, thank you. |

On the bright side, there has recently been a round of massive upgrades to the electrical infrastructure to handle all the power demands that new technologies have placed on the grid:
