"Crisp, THICK lugs"......??????
I hear this often usually in a sales pitch in the classifieds. What exactly does this mean? How do lugs become something other than "crisp and thick"? Any chance anyone has photos of Thick crisp versus non thick crisp for an ignorant guys like me to see and thereby better understand?

I do not have pictures, but basically if the case of a watch has been refinished repeatedly, it will begin to remove enough metal to thin the lugs down. If the polish work is not done well, it can also begin to round the sharp corners of the case surfaces, which would result in a watch that was not "crisp."

As a contrast, my 1680 is a tad overpolished.
