Went to see new sub, came home with something else...

Hi guys,

Today I went to see the new Subc.

I tried it on, it was brand new, and it is very nice, I can't say it's much different from the old, and the difference is all good IMHO.

I was sort of ready to buy it, when my seller shows me another piece...

...the other piece was not new, instead it was old, older than me.

Made in 1973 a legendary dive watch.

Yes, the Omega Ploprof 600m, and in an excellent condition.
Here with "two" other great divers!

I think so. I had it to a light just before I took that picture. It doesn't last very long, but on the plus side that means hand, dial and bezel is probably all original.

Just an FYI, your hands and bezel insert are not original. They are not tritium, and appear to be newer (non tritium) lume material. It is possible that they are authentic omega replacement parts, but not original. Nothing wrong with that IMHO. If it were mine, I'd send it off to omega to service and insure that any inauthentic parts were replaced. They could probably tell you what's genuine.

A original Ploprof, huge congrats. You can always find a sub, but you may never see another vintage Ploprof, great find.

You know that's exactly how I saw this, as an opportunity to own something that's not for sale everyday.

A beautiful piece!! You dont see too many Omega pieces such as that!!! They are getting rarer and harder to find. You made a good choice there. Omega has their place in history.
Wear it well!!
