My rolex experience

I bought a GMT IIc in October from a local AD. Before this, I owned a sub date.

Been very happy with the purchase, and I wore the GMT consistently. Even though I was careful, there are a few unfortunate scratches.

Yesterday, all of sudden, I noticed a tiny peck of dust inside the watch case. It bothered me a little, so I contacted my AD to inquire about potentially getting the watch serviced and the dust removed. The Rolex local service center in my area was also contacted and notified of the issue.

Today, Rolex service center gave me a call, and asked me to bring my old GMT (along with box and papers) to my AD.

So I did.

Waiting at the AD was a brand new GMT IIc. Rolex exchanged my watch for a brand new one.

Needless to say, I was IMPRESSED!

Rolex service far exceeded all my expectations.

That's awesome, I think it can't get any better. I'm a strong believer in good service.

Very impressive. I wonder if the USA RSC would do the same.

Same thing happened with my GV. I took it back to the AD (also in HK) and got a brand new one. I did take it back on the same day though.

Top notch service. It's good to know that there are companies that go above the bar to take care of their customers.

That is great! I really can't imagine that happening here in the US.
