Tag Heuer Grand Carerra Calibre 8RS (WAV5112)

Hi all,

So I purchased a brand new Grand Carerra Calibre 8RS and after setting the time I can't now get the crown to screw back in.

When I gently push it and turn it clockwise there doesn't seem to be any purchase on the crown. As soon as I release the pressure the crown pops out again.

I've spoken to my AD and he's going to talk to Tag for them to swap the piece out, however I purchased it in the US and I'm now back in the UK....problemo.

So, this leads me to a couple of questions...

i. Could I be doing something wrong? (Bearing in mind I down have a SS Sub and have had automatic Tags in the past)

ii. Has anyone seen this before?

iii. Any ideas on how I can get this sorted without shipping too and from the US?

Cheers,

Chris
