Question about trades

What is the best way to trade a Good condition V series GMTIIC for a brand new black Ceramic Sub C? How much should I have to pay up for this trade? Any ideas?

I would suggest contacting one of the trusted sellers here on TRF and see what they can work out for you...Oscar (BODYBUMP), Tony (JUSTROLEXES) are two that I have dealt with several times and they are AWESOME

My guess would be between $500-$1000 from you but I may be completely off... I am assuming your GMT C is SS

I think your best bet is to sell the GMT and then buy your Sub-C. You will probably take less of a hit than you would through a trade. I've tried to work the trade route a few times and have always done better selling the watch and putting the proceeds toward the watch I want, with the exception being a few times when I have done even-steven trades.

Great info, I just hate the nonsense of selling myself... cars/watches... You are right you will lose about $300-700 more but it is done and over

Myself would keep your GMT11c unless you plan to use the sub for diving. The GMT shares basically the same movement as the sub except for the added second timezone complication. So I must ask what you don't like about your GMT,perhaps its PCL as both watches look similar.

I have to agree with Padi on this one - keep the GMTIIc. Why not just save for the Sub and go for a 16610?
