Sub LV spotted in Kingston on Thames, uk

Hi guys, I saw a SubC LV in Kingston, Surrey today. Ernest Jones. They also had a black SubC and a sub nd. First one I've seen in the wild and it looked great.

Fight sarcasm with sarcasm, it's the only way

I think the LV Sub's are becoming easier to pick up of late. Despite hearing otherwise the hype for the SS Daytona's continues apace. AD in London said they had a 6 year waiting list!

Perhaps he's just easily surprised.

At £7,000 from 4 January 2011 they will be in AD's windows in the UK!

They already have been, especially black dials. We've had to put two in this year to shift them. White dials still seem to be in demand, but whether they will after the price rise remains to be seen

One of my ADs had a "7 year waiting list".

Trouble is, they also had 2 in the safe, one white and one black dial.

Neither had anyone's name on them. One salesmen was a bit of a chatter and told me that they had a list but the SS Daytonas mainly went to preferred customers, read high spenders.

The only way that 2011 will not see the demise of the fabled lists is if Rolex actually turns down production so as to not blow the myth.

Once there's plenty in the window it's just another steel sports Rolex, albeit a £7,000 one.

I visited my folks over Christmas and dropped by the local Rolex dealer there to see the ceramic LV but they didn't have one. The AD did have two SS Daytonas in the display case, a black dial and a white dial. They also had a WG Daytona but were out of SS subs and GMTs (they did have gold and SS TT subs and GMTs).
