HELP!!! Dropped DSSD...
There is a tiny chip in the bracelet where it meets the case, but the real damage is the pearl has 2 hairline cracks. Does anyone know if it is able to be replaced or if I need a new bezel. Thanks in advance...

I have tried taking pictures to show detail, camera is not cooperating. Has anyone experienced a broken/cracked pearl on a ceramic bezel Rolex?

Sorry to hear this. I would guess that since the pearl is separate from the ceramic it can be removed. I would contact your closest RSC to do this. Removing the new insert requires certain tools that most watchmakers will not have.

I would take to your local AD or send to RSC to be fixed... Dont worry it will come back looking like new. Sorry to hear of this

Bezel isn't cheap - probably around $1,000 USD to get it replaced (guessing.) I would try for the pearl first if possible.

It was. Could have been worse I guess. I'm going to call rsc tomorrow and see what they recommend. The lume still works. There are just 3 hairline cracks in the middle of the pearl.

so sorry to hear this. I believe its separated from the bezel so replacing it shouldn't be an issue, its only down to the dollar.
has the accuracy been compromised? |

How big was the crater in th ground!? Sorry to hear it, and it really hurts, but if you should feel somewhat more at easy knowing that there is probably no sturdier rolex to withstand such a fall! They are made for this

It is not the end of the world. I would NOT send it in. For RSC it has to be $100 just for the shipping both ways and you will have to wait six weeks.
I would take to a local AD that has a watchmaker on site. He will tell you how much and can order the part, and call you when it comes in. With some luck he will replace and clean up bracelet while you are having lunch. I recall the ceramic bezel costs $330 (it isn't $1,000). Vaguely remember a conversation concerning with my watchmaker. I'm having lunch with him on Thursday and if I remember I will verify. I would estimate $400 with labor and you will miss your watch for maybe a day. I believe the luminescent dot is swagged into the bezel and not sold separately. Again, I'll ask Thursday. You may want to PM me after Thursday as I'm probably not going to come back to this thread.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about the drop. I agree it is a very sturdy watch. Also agree that if you can stand it just wait until it's normal time for maintenance before you take it to an AD or RSC. But if you can spare the money now go for it. Good luck!
