FSOT: Datejust 18K reference 1601
This watch belongs to an elderly friend and he recently asked me to sell it for him.
Datejust reference 1601, serial # 256XXXX, c. 1968, in 14K yellow gold on a new Rios alligator strap. I believe this watch was serviced within the past few years by a Rolex certified watchmaker that I know in Kentucky. It is functioning well and overall the condition is excellent. The case has not been "overpolished". This is a very fine example of a 1601 Datejust and it is ready to be worn and enjoyed. I will consider trades for other Rolex watches. The price is $2250 or a close offer. Happy 2011! |

14K yellow gold
A Rolex AD watchmaker opened the case yesterday and confirmed from the case back stamp that this watch is 14K gold.

sold
This watch was sold tonight in a very pleasant face to face transaction with a fellow TRFer.
Thanks Lewis, it was a pleasure meeting and talking Rolex and Panerai with you. I hope to see you at the next TRG GTG in the Columbus area. |
