My GMT-Master II

I wanted to share with you my GMT-Master II and ask 1 question.

It was a gift from my godfather when I turned 21 (13 years ago ) I wear it about 90% of the time and I just love it.

I changed the Bezel insert about 10 years ago because I managed to scratch it. It was changed at Boucheron for less that $40 Dlls (from what I remember and the exchange rate).

Now that it's faded I wanted to change it again but in Tijuana, Mexico they told me that Rolex has no more Inserts because it's old and discontinued.

I went to Ben Bridge (San Diego) and told me that it would be $400 to replace. I thought they were out of their mind and left.

So, my question is: Do you now ir the inserts are still available (16710) if I send it directly to a RSC?

Thank you very much and excuse the bad quality of the pictures.

I think that the Ben Bridge must have quoted you the price for a new bezel, not the insert..

Most any Dealer should be able to get you one, installed, for under a hundred bucks.. Try another one..........

Around $50 at the Los Angeles RSC in 2004. They are now closed, but $400 is way off!

I'm sorry for not researching that before posting the question.

glad to see this posting, I have the same issue and today I called a local person that have worked with and they quoted me $125.

I am going to call the San Diego service center tomorrow and find out what they charge.

I called the number above and I was quoted $195 for the bezel insert that includes installation if you are local or the same amount if they ship the insert to you. I think that is kind of expensive.

Strange...I called Sutters (the authorized service center in Chicago) and the guy quoted $65 and said they probably have 'em in stock. They do keep your old bezel, however.

I'll see if I can swing by during the week and ask in person. I will also check more ADs and see what they have to say.
I would like to keep the old one so I might just take it out before sending it in.

No, it's a notepad from a company called Concrete Enterprises. I worked in Albany GA for a year and they were one of our suppliers.
