I have the chance to buy this one but do you think it is real?
The s/n seems to be all right and dates it to late 1972. The second hand moves with 5-6 ticks per second. Regards |

Looks legit, but I think it might be a little overpriced. Also check if the crown screws all the way in.

Agreed, I feel thats a high price for the watch. Would expect it to be south of $1k usd.

I think you should spend the equivalent or tiny bit more on an AirKing or Oyster Perpetual. They look very similar, but the Precision is manual winding, and the self winding movement is a lot easier if you plan to wear the watch a lot.
If you have a Rolex, you will wear it a lot!
