Can anyone recommend an AD in New Jersey?

Bought a TT GMTII a few years back from a store that was an AD in Morristown - seems that they aren't any longer.

All the stores that are listed as ADs when I look in North/Central Jersey don't mention Rolex on their web sites which leads me to believe it may not be a primary item for them . . . .

Anyone have any recommendations?

Looking for a TT Daytona . . . .

If you want to venture to South Jersey then Bernie Robbins is a great AD.

Good looking watch. Over Christmas I finally took my first plunge with a new Explorer 2 white. Bought on line after seeing several positive recomendations for Davidsw (thru RolexForums) out of Orlando. I live in Chicago. Davidsw was very responsive, and worked hard prior to the holidays and expedited shipment to ensure it was here b4 Christmas. Love the watch and would buy from him again.

Got my Sub-C from them. Very friendly people who make the extra effort to keep the customer happy.

Examples?
1) Offered me a glass of champagne as it was my first Rolex.
2) Sent me a handwritten card about 2 months or so after my purchase just to basically say hello and that they hoped I was still happy with my watch.
3) Recently sent a handwritten holiday card.

Granted, I know all those acts of kindness are really an effort to keep me as a customer if/when I buy my second Rolex, but I haven't heard a lot of similar experiences.

I use Roman Jewelers in Flemington. I know they have a 2 tone Daytona with white face in stock. I don't think Sherman and Sons in Flemington carries Rolex but I could be wrong.

I second Ron Sherman. I never bought anything from him yet he treats me nice every time I go into his store.

Thanks again all. A few have mentioned discounts; don't remember what the list was on my TT GMTII but I recall a substantial discount.

What can I expect on a TT Daytona with the white face (116523) in terms of discount?

An online jeweler with a store in Metro DC (haven't checked to see if he is an AD, probably should) is showing this model as:

Retail Price - $16,400
Our Price - $12,630
Your Savings - $3,770

About 23% off

Sound about right?

Update - did a quick check - - - this is the site: http://www.alanfurman.com/noframes/rolex1.html

Their address is in Rockville, MD and not listed as an AD.

Curious.

I do want to buy new never worn in the box with warranty from an AD. Not worth messing around for a few points for something my children will wear when I am gone.

Another update - found this thread: http://www.diamondring.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=62493

Alan Furman apparently sells grey market watches, no Rolex warranty as they are overstock from French and German AD's. Not a big deal I guess but not for me.

This: http://articles.latimes.com/1987-11-..._beverly-hills comes up in search on the name as well . . .. a few years back but still in the ether apparently.

+10 on Bernie Robbins. I used to shop at their Milburn, NJ locations and had custom diamond jewelry commissioned. Unfortunately, the closed up shop at that location due to lack of traffic. I would travel to their location in So Jersey/Phillie to do business with them

I agree with Lee Perla. They are very helpful and allow people to look at any watch without giving attitude. As a 21 year old kid I feel like that is the best way to treat people. In contrast, the people at Hartgers in Wyckoff always seem snotty during my numerous visits and seem very unwilling to help unless you are older and dressed to impress.

I agree. Paul at Leonardo is great. But they also have a store in Elizabeth, NJ near Newark Airport. The tax at that store is only 1.5%!! Definitely worth buying from them.

I couldn't agree more! I have bought many times from Paul who is a great guy and very knowledgeable. You can't go wrong buying from Leonardo.

Also, DavidSW here at TRF is wonderful to work with as well.
