Ha!
Never went flying, but here are some pics from two evenings ago.

I wish bystanders would know how to use a big camera and not produce blurry pics.

Taco,

Those were taken with the 35mm Nikkor lens @ 1.8 and the SB-800 flash.

Funny that is my same combo.

Anyway, my thought was that if you had a SB-800 (and you do) you could pick up a SB-600 and use it off camera with a diffuser and at least 1 stop less (probably more) than the on camera SB-800. Point it at the background to remove the harsh shadows created by the on camera flash. You could just use the stand that comes with the flash and set it on the ground.

I'm still new to flash so my idea might not work at all, but man I love off camera flash.

I already have that Taco but we went out for dinner and a movie. The last think I want to lug around with me are tripods, soft boxes and extra flashes LOL.
Those are snapshots, that's all.

And as a rule of thumb, I am always way too lazy to carry all that crap with me lol.

Im with you on that one, but the second flash was just a thought.

So how do you take your camera with you when you go out?

A friend's father just purchased a Rapide about a month ago, words cannot describe this thing, it's so much more than a car/automobile/piece of engineering.
