I don't think it looks that bad, I just think they are awful photos.

Seller only has 50 feedback. The pic of the movement also has a different background compared to the other pics and is missing the band. If they went through the trouble to remove the band, why wouldn't they show the case markings. I'm no expert but seems risky to me.

I don't agree.

The background for the movement photo looks the same; it's the position that has changed (flat v. upright).

Yes, he has only 50 feedback [sic] but they are recent and they include a few other high-end watches of comparable value, including Rolex.

And, in case you've never done it, removing a Rolex back is much easier (posible?) with the band removed.
