I think, being careful, one can make a good purchase on/thru eBay. I have made a few, and in each case, my criteria has been from someone local, with whom I could actually meet, and transact the deal, in person. That methodology has worked well, for me, including a Full Set LNIB GMTIIc 116713, for $6000.00 net last year. And a deal in progress right now for a Full Set LNIB GMT 16700, also local to me. While perhaps not as easy for those who living in many areas, for those of us in more populated urban areas, certainly an option for reducing risk in an eBay transaction. As always, ones "due diligence" can make all the difference!
