I see you're missing one. Maybe I will be able to fill in that gap on day for you.

Not the best shot, but here is my current line up. Missing the wifes two in the group shot.
One of these is not a Panerai, but is part of my family

Launch, What watch is that on the very far left?
Which of all your Panerais is your favorite? (If you were forced to only keep one, which one would it be?) |

The one on the far left is a "Project Watch" made by Avalon.
Tough call on the one only. I would have to go with the 98. THis would be the one on the right with the dual crowns

Yeah, I still am upset at passing up on a 42mm radiomir GMT I saw for sale in KL. Was $7200, a little expensive.
Tried on a 45mm Radiomir last week, with only the hour and minute hand (manual wind and see through back). Very nice. Tried on the SS version with black strap version and also the pink gold with brown gator strap version. Both nice, but the Gold version was jsut stunning. The 45mm was pretty large, but was nice fitting due to strap and the slim pillow shape of the case. Like the "original" design of both, but thing the lack of a seconds hand would drive me crazy! Hutch, that is also one great collection you have! |

Ended up getting a Panerai 212 this week.
It's taking me a bit to warm up to this one, but it is a great watch. It has the 1950 case, so took a few pics with the 233, also in the 1950 case. Pretty good lume on it also. Side by side Nice thick 50 cases and domed crystals

I was in my local AD today and the sales guy was wearing his 98. Looked nice on him, but I still can't warm up to them.

The 1950 Case is HOT alright... if only they'd do a plain base model iwth that case!
Congrats John the 212 is a beauty! |
