Hi, new to the forum.
I was in the Long Island store this weekend considering a DJII and it wasn't a bad experience but they were not budging from the list prices. However they were offering their club financing. 18 mos interest free. I love the TT with the gray or the black dial but I have a moral objection to paying full lsit price. I might wait to see if they release a SS with a white dial and roman numerals. Any suggestions as to where else to buy and not have to worry about the issues that come along with not going to an authorized dealer? I would appreciate the guidance since this will be my first Rolex. Feel free to PM me if posting sources in open forum is not cool. |

I have historically had bad experiences with T. But this weekend I was browsing at the Houston Galleria and stopped in. The manager came right up and helped me and even offered me a very reasonable deal on my TT DJ in trade for a TT GMTIIc without me even asking!. Normally I would warn off anyone wanting to purchase a watch from them, but perhaps the tides have turned? Only the future will tell...

The last time I was in the Chicago store, one of the salesmen had an open magazine sitting on top of the Patek Philippe display that he was reading. He saw me standing there trying to see the watches & didn't bother to move his magazine out of the way. I wonder if that technique is on their sales training videos.
