GMT Master II 1996?
Hi,
I hope someone on this forum is both kind and knowledgeable enough to help me. I've recently come into possession of a Rolex GMT Master II. Now, I have no knowledge of Rolex watches, or luxury watches in general; but there are two things i'd be interested in knowing. 1) What year is this watch from? I'm currently led to believe it's from 1996 but I may be wrong 2) How valuable is this watch? It's in very good condition If anyone can help me answer these questions i'd greatly appreciate it. I've uploaded a photo of the face of the watch but if you need any more information to identify it then please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you all very much. |

You're not going to get any advice based on that photo.
Take CLEAR pictures of good resolution.

That watch features a very rare upside down dial, either that or a 'destro' case...it should cost in the ballpark of 1.5 x 10^6 million (australian dollars)...wait..or was the pic taken off a reflection

The crown guards are a dead giveway that this is a genuine fake.

You really can't tell anything for sure with that photo..
You also need to take the bracelet off and provide any numbers on the sides of the case.... Armed with that information, 5 minutes of Internet research and you will find it's "value"....

You need to take the bracelet off and look at teh serial number and post the first 3 letters/numbers. Also, need a close up of the dial of the watch.
Looks like a standard 116710. Could be a T dial. Range or price? $2500 - $5500 most likely.
