Hold Rolex accountable for their, as far as what I can tell, negligence. You paid big money for the watch and they are obligated to, at the very least, correct a mistake. You ought to also engage the AD where you bought the watch. Good luck to you.

I checked my crystal. There is no "s" in the crown. I think if the crystal is replaced under the warranty Rolex would use the non "s" crystal. My mothers 26mm crystal was cracked. She owns the watch since 1984. The new crystal has the crown and "s".
If Rolex polishes a crystal rather than replaces it, then I think it would cost more in labor than in parts. The crystal cost about $140 for "us" to get it replaced by RSC. The crystal is probably only cost $30-40 to make. It would be far cheaper to replace than to polish. |
