When it gets removed after the auction you are stuck paying the fees??? If so, we should bid them up crazy and then report them....

I gotta ask....
Why are wall clocks being targeted in the Watchout section. It's not my auction nor would I ever buy one. Just curious. It seems there are Rolex hats, golfballs, shirts, ashtrays and so on and so on. Of course we all know Rolex didn't produce these items.

Rolex did produce some branded rolex hats, golfballs, shirts, and astrays. I own a rolex hat and a golf ball/ tee set given to me by a AD. But there are some fakes of these items, beware.

:) Where would they produce them. Geneva? All Joking.....
aside, anything non-watch related was probably mass produced outside of Switzerland and the Name / logo slapped on it. I think I saw a pair of Rolex Panties on ebay one time.

I have been contacted by the owner / seller of the wall clock that was listed a second time , sold and then had the sale annulled .
The seller is a rather passive member at TRF but is more active on other Rolex forums . He is the first to support the actions on Watchout and encourages all of us here to continue the good work . He has an excellent Ebay track record . Ebay never discloses on which report they have taken action but the seller deducted it could have been me . So at the sellers request I tried to answer as why I thought the clock is fake . The seller , whom I believe listed it (twice) in good faith believing his item to be genuine . He will try to confirm authenticity with Rolex USA before ever re-listing it again . He did mention the remark that I made about the Ebay fees and another member picking up on it . I must admit that remark was indeed of poor taste and can be perceived as arrogant . Therefore I would like to apologize to this seller and TRF member for having posted that remark and I believe that bidding them up first and then have the sale annulled may not be such a good idea after all . I doubt that Ebay itself would appreciate that . |

Wall Clock
Good morning Paul and others reading this particular thread on the wall clocks. Thank you very much Paul for your last post - I know it is sincere and I appreciate it. My communication with you was as well. I do enjoying reading hear and do appreciate the watch out section. I will not as I stated - post the clock on Ebay again until I am able to confirm its authenticity one way or the other. Thank you again and look forward to posting more myself.
