Is it safe to sleep in my rolex? I can't get comfortable wearing it to bed because I am afraid I may stretch the band or something..please advise me ...if not,I will get up before I pass out every night and put it away in it's rolex box with rolex pillow and let it snooze in the closet . I refuse to wear it to work so when I get home I put on my pjs and my rolex. Is falling asleep in bed bad for my little rolex baby? God forbid, I don't want to have anything happen to her while I snooze.....thanks all

I sleep with mine on all the time and it has not really seemed to do any damage. I have had the same thoughts as you though as sometimes I wake up and it is very tight because of the way my wrist is positioned. It hasn't done enough to stop me from sleeping with it though.

It is safe to sleep in, with, on, whatever w/ your Rolex.......if it's uncomfortable for you......you can always put the CD soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever, wear your Rolex
& boogie to the disco beat while waving your arms about, that will generate wind power
before you retire for the night & put the Rolex in it's box.

Would you wear it to bed! I would be afraid of knocking my wife on the head with the thing accidentally, or on the bedside table or headboard. Personally, I like to wear my nice watches to dinner and out with friends and places like that. Typically, that is when I need to tell the time also! Hmmmm

Just out of curiosity...why can't you wear it to work? Seems like it would be more useful at work than when you are fast asleep.

I'm sure its safe to sleep in it, but seems completely unnecessary to me. Furthermore, I'm not sure I understand the logic behind buying a watch that you can't wear to work - but choose to sleep in...

I dont wear my watch to work because I dont want compromise the safety of my beloved rolex. I deal with dead animals all day . I am the dead animal man for the city of Dayton. During the winter when it snows,I am deicing. No salt will get near my watch. If I owned a grotto like HEF, then i would wear my PJs and my watch all day long.

Now I can see why you wouldn't wear your Rolex @ work.
As soon as you get home, don your silk pj's, robe & Rolex, have a rum & pepsi & pretend you're hef.

Thank you for doing that job! Its a hard one that someone has to do! That being said, I would wear the watch in evenings and when you go out with friends, etc, and put it in its box at night. Just my opinion!

Its a just watch much like any other watch and being a Rolex dont need any sort of pampering.You will not harm your watch in any way by sleeping with in on your wrist.Quite the opposite you could hurt yourself/partner if you are a restless sleeper.Just take it off at night and stick it on the bedside table,it will be still there where you put it when you wake up.And myself working in the steel industry in more dust muck than you can imagine.And all my Rolex are as good as they were 8 to 20 plus years ago.And a few of my watches have been used as tool watches and sometimes abused when I was working as a dive guide/instructor. And they have seen many years of salt water and they are all still alive and ticking and looking good today. And expect them to be still ticking looking good when this guys old ticker finally stops.

Just put it on any Nato strap as long it matches your pyjama's otherwise your Rolex may get upset and gain time overnight .
