Older Sea Dweller Bracelet
..I bought an SD about 12 yrs ago ,used, but probably a late 80's model. The bracelet, as I recall, was heavier than a sub bracelet with much heavier end links..Later on, I noticed that SD's all had what appeared to be standard sub bracelets..Question: When and for how long was this special SD bracelet made, and why was it discontinued?

Well, as padi says the early SDs of the 80s, reference 16660, were fitted with sels. Subs of the period, reference 16800, used non-sels.
