Calendar card
Hi - considering buying a Rolex calendar card from the mid-90s but "worrying" a bit about fakes. Any guesses as to the frequency of fakes of such items out there?

I just threw a few away a couple of months ago. People actually pay real money for those things? I had phone numbers and messages scribbled on some of them anyway or I would have given them to you.

Thanks Trevor. Yeah the ones from the 90s seem to sell at around $5 or $10. Apparently some years are more expensive than others.

I don't think you have to worry about any fake calenders from the 1990's. Counterfeiting calenders is almost non-existent.

I have been watching on EBAY for a 99/2000 (approx $20) and 85/86 (approx $75+).
Are calendars model specific or generic to all models for that year? |

They are generic. Rolex did not make different calenders for specific models. They were all the same thru the years they were made.

They are just are just out of date card calenders and I would doubt if Rolex made themselves.Stuff like that was out sourced under licence to third party world wide to make and print.
Have to agree a calender is not much use once its passed it year date. But such is the power of the Internet today and Rolex hype, same for buying hang tags, bezel protectors and the rest of the marketing stuff.
