116610LV vs. 116610LN

I have been looking at the green Sub C and was wondering what makes the asking price on these $1000.00 to $2000.00 more than the Sub C black?

Fewer will be about than the LN, so perceived rarity. They also use gold (albeit only a small amount) on coating the dial, and the green ceramic could potentially be more expensive to produce, especially as it'll be made in smaller numbers than black ceramic bezelled models. They charge more because they can, really, and because people are willing to pay more to have a watch seen to be exclusive

Slightly higher list price anyway, due to the different materials (as Chris says) and then simple supply/demand................

I just picked mine up last Saturday and my dealer still gave me my normal 20% discount, paid $6300. I was in Mayors in Orlando last night and they have a rather lenghty list for one. The salesperson said they get about two a month

The green one has always been listed slightly more than the black one... But there is only about a 500 buck difference in the MSRP..

Likely there is no manufacturing reason... I'm sure that their costs are well covered on every sale.....

I am getting a blue TT Sub, but i did speak to someone who had the ceramic green Sub, and he said you can get pretty fed up of the green after a bit.

Well I have had a green ceramic. I would not say you would get fed uo but I would say it is certainly NOT an everyday watch.

I found it to draw a bit too much attention to my wrist while meeting with clients. I also did not like the creamy green of the insert compared with the absolutely gorgeous dial. Who knows maybe I should get another one
