It is ok to wear 2 watches in situations that do not require or involve contact with other humans.

For airplane travel it would make sense. If I brought two I would keep those puppies on my wrist. At least until I got through security.

I did it only once when I bought a new TT Sub in Germany and didn't want to let my new or old one out of my sight through customs, security and the flight. Felt foolish but they both made it home safely.

I'm recently retired with a younger working wife, and the kids are out on their own, living their lives.

Often I put on a second watch for fun when doing house work or even just watching tv, It puts a smile on my face and only the dog knows.

So the doorbell rings.... do you keep one hand behind your back when answering?

Only happen once, had an unexpected UPS package arrive while wearing a SS Daytona and Sub. Totally forgot about the second watch, felt rather silly to say the least, and then the UPS gentleman, an older fellow who's english was weak clearly said "Daytona" and smiled.

I felt a bit better, on his wrist a huge G Shock (only one). He told me about his two DJ's one a TT 80's model, his late fathers, and a newer one, TT with sapphire crystal he bought for himself.

Never know when you'll cross paths with a WIS, but since then I'm always ready to slip the second watch off when there's a knock at the door.

I dunno. I thought one through my nose-piercing and one through my ear-piercing looked quite stylish, especially when they were both Day-Date Presidents!
