Thumbs up to Brookstone Quad Watch Winder

Just got mine in today and gotta be honest i can't believe it was only $199 with free shipping! Features on this one are same as more high end watch winders. Rotation direction, clockwise counter clockwise and bi-directional and TPD ranges from 650 to 3600 are on separate controls for each head. Extremely silent. Love how when the heads stop they always line up the watch so its straight in upright position and all watches are aligned. Slick and modern design. Extremely happy with the purchase, thought i'd share.

Thanks for this. I was thinking about getting the Brookstone Quad. I thought it was $299 though. On sale perhaps or am I just confused? Don't answer that.

I got the double. Nice unit.

However, afraid the cushions are too big for my small-wristed watch bracelets. I had to get my Sub repaired after my bracelet was stretched out after a couple of days on the wind.

sounds like there was a problem before you put it on the winder ... can't comment on the double unit ... but the Quad cushions are just perfect for my wrist size ... high quality for sure

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered one. I look forward to putting it through its paces.

For anyone who orders, don't forget to use SHIP99 promo code to get free shipping. It saves $20.

I just received my unit today. So far I am impressed. It did bring up one question... how many turns per day have you set yours at or how many turns per day is recommended? Does it change based on the watch? Is a DJ different from a DD?

yeah for Rolex watches 650 TPD is recommend bi-directional. For other watches you will have to adjust, for example 7750 movement winds only one direction ... i would google if you have watch other than Rolex

Thanks. Only my Rolex's will be on this. My other watches are old Hamilton's, Omega's, etc. and they will have to sit or I may decide to get another one later.

I have had a chance to watch this for a couple of days now and I have to say that I am impressed. Absolutley no sound from the unit, it has 16 programmable turns per day, goes clockwise, counterclockwise and bidirectional and the foam for the watches is firm but can be compressed to fit smaller wrist sizes.

I am very happy with the purchase, especially considering the price tag of $199.

How big is the unit? does it take battery of only AC? can you put it inside the safe?
