Good Deal Or Not??
Ive been getting ready to buy my first Rolex and have been torn between a TT Sub or a TT Yacht....I went to my local AD here in VA again today for like the 10th time and I found my PERFECT watch! They had just gotten in a TT Yacht with a black MOP dial! It was sweet! But had a sweet tag on it too ...The list on it is $10,200....I talked to the manager and he said he could give it to me out the door for $9400 w/1 year interest free....Basically that's 10% off(before tax) with a year interest free...I'm putting down $4000 on whichever I get...Does this sound like a good deal or could I expect to get a better deal than that??

I've seen TT's going for 15% off.... I heard they could be had for 20% off as well (but no where I've been shopping lately... )

Not bad, but I can tell he knows you want it.
The discount AND the one-year financing interest free is pretty cool, though. If you're putting down $4k that leaves another $5k to be paid off in a year at $420 a month...that IS a car, but it's interest free and if you won't notice the money missing, go for it. I'd still try to work a little more magic though...I think he'll come down. That being said, don't haggle too much. It's a gentleman's watch and a gentlmen's transaction! |
