Seller's remorse?

I got my 1st Submariner 17 years ago. I only wear it occasionally as I have a Blue TT and it's really hard to take it off. I was thinking of selling or exchanging it for something new and different, perhaps a Breitling Emergency. I don't need to sell my watch (nor do I need a new watch or a third watch). Has anyone ever gotten rid of a watch, especially their first or one that they have had for a long time and later regretted it?

I had some regrets but not a lot. So far been happy with my purchases. I did however have a hard time selling my first Rolex the 14060. I learned from that point to make sure buy the watch that you know you will keep.

I rarely regret what I bought but many times, I regretted something that I did NOT buy......passing up (several) once a lifetime opportunities.

I had a SS sub for 3 years and sold it to fund a TT YM. I sold the YM because of regrets of selling my sub. Now that I have a sub back, I wish I had the YM.

The only asnwer is to own both. But to answer your question, yes, I had regrets.

Have only sold one Rolex,my first, wore it for close to 6 years,a GMT II,red/black.Perhaps,should have kept it and had a pepsi insert, replace the red/black.On the other hand, love my current collection,so also not really missing the GMT II.That said, would stil pic that above the new attempt on a GMT II,from Rolex. It boggles the mind that the numericals are in white milky paint on the bezel ..

If it is hard to take your Blue TT off, really I would suggest that you adjust the bracelet to a more loose fit!

of major remorse. I've let about four watches go that I would kill to get back. If you are planning to be where you will need an emergency watch then get one...but other wise it isn't going to do anything special for you... except get very very heavy.

Temporary sellers remorse.
Daren has taught me well. I have moved four watches in about the last 6 months. One more on the "chopping block"
I keep replacing them though, so the new one seems to take the sting out of the sale.
