Things to do in San Diego?

My wife and university age daughter are in San Diego this week.

Any suggestions on what they might like to do that I can pass on?

(They did the Zoo today so that one already done).

Thanks.

We did the USS Midway when we were down there in February and it was awesome. I highly recommend checking it out. Old town and the Gaslamp are pretty fun for shopping and good food. Have fun and enjoy the weather.

Midway is awesome. Gaslamp and downtown are also fun. I enjoy mission beach as well. If nothing else, the people watching is great.

I love visiting the Hotel Del Coronado and Coronado Island. There are many great restaurants within walking distance of the Del. The USS Midway is an interesting treat.

For more time, the Wild Animal Park by Escondido is also nice. Be prepared to walk. If you have kids they will probably enjoy the Ruben H. Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park (where there are a lot of other nice museums, and the zoo).

Have Brunch at the Hotel del Coronado- It's a great place, and Coronado's a lot of fun to walk around in- just a short ferry ride across from San Diego!
Also, Have you checked out Fisherman's Village and Horton Plaza yet?

If you want to know from a native,
Wild animal park. Much better than the zoo, I think they changed the name...? Pt loma light house, can see all of downtown and to the mountains. Pacific beach. Stay away from mission beach except to ride the roller coaster. Mt Soledad and or Mt Helix. Be carefull though, there is a cross on each mountain and some have felt offended by that

If you want more info, PM

Have fun!

+1 for the Midway, could've spent a lot more time than I did there.
