Not an issue for me either. the easiest way for me to spot the 2nd timezone is to seek out the triangle. In low light the green hand is hard to see.

I may as well post this question in this thread (as opposed to starting another): GMTIIc or Two Tone Blue Sub C ?? Pros and Cons?

Any tips from you experienced guys would be very appreciated.
I have to make a decision soon - I feel naked now without a watch!!

use the 24 hr hand as a compass. It will find north and it's pretty accurate.

So I went to my local AD and looked at both watches, in person, under two different lighting conditions. I'm very glad I did this! The watches look WAY different in person.

I would agree with you. Gotta see the watch in person.

I'm not a fan of the new blue on the TT Sub C, I still think you would be happy with the SS GMT IIC.

The 24 hour 4th hand has never been an obstruction to telling time on my GMT.

Safes are an invitation for trouble as thieves immediately know that they want what is inside. Even a large heavy safe can be wheeled out of your home by pros. Only thing to do is the get a real heavy safe, put it in the basement, and have it attached to a concrete foundation. My GA place is a rental so that is not an option for me here, so I keep my valuables in a deposit box at the bank. Again, I'm sorry to hear this happened to you.

I own five GMT watches as I travel a lot and having that 24-hour hand helps in determining what time I can call family or work in the US.

If you have not decided which watch to buy (SubC or GMTIIc), I vote for the GMTIIc in SS or TT.

DISCLAIMER: This is my opinion. And I am a moron.
Okay, now that we have that out of the way...

The colors seemed to wash out on me with the blue sub c. The blue is soft and the gold did not sparkle the way I was thinking it would. It was elegant, classy, but no "pop". The GMT definitely had the "wow" factor from the moment I put it on. The black is SO black, and SO shiny. The bezel font is bold, modern and masculine. The watch looks bigger than it actually is. The sub c bezel font is classic, not attention grabbing. This could be a bad or a good thing, depending on what your goals are.
To me, the sub c looks way better in the pictures. The GMT looks not so good in the pictures.
I definitely want the GMT.

Not at all. Maybe I did initially as I'd never owned a watch with a 24hr hand but now that I'm used to it, I don't even notice.
