Oris Watches

What do you think opf them? The two I have in mind are the Modern Classic as worn by Keanu in Constantine or the Big Crown Pointer Date.
For a cheap watch they are supposed to be ok and I do like the style of them.

Davinci,

Oris watches are OK and affordable. I bought a Big Crown several years ago. The same watch that Sam Neil, in "Jurasic Park" wore. It has a sapphire display back, so you can see the movement. I believe, most Oris watches are mechanical, no quartz.

If your eyes are quick, you see a lot of Hollywood stars wearing Oris watches in the screen, Tommy Lee Jones and Harrison Ford to name a few.

I hope this info helps.

Louie

I purchased an Oris TT1 WorldTimer last November. Lots of value for the $$. I would place Oris somewhere between Hamilton [Tissot, Swiss Army, ect.] and Tag Heuer [Omega, Breitling, ect.] in the watch hierarchy.
I don't have an opinion about the specific models you mentioned because I've never examined them but I like mine. Very robust.
Good luck,
dP

I had a Williams F1 PVD for a couple of weeks, Great watch I loved it but my wife disagreed with the all black PVD look of it. For the money you cant go wrong especially if its preowned

I used to have a Chronoris. It was a nice watch for the money. I sold it because it didn't have a "second hand" and it looked a lot smaller than it's 40mm diameter.
