I think why I loved the GMT so much is because it's NOT a Sub.
What I mean is that I really like vintage Subs (hence my 14060). There's something about the SubC that seems sacrilegious with the date, fat lugs, bigger crown guards, etc. But for me, I guess I'm OK with changes to the GMT. The GMTC is great...but leave my Sub alone! Weird but true... :)
