Lisa, just seeing this thread now - you got it! Arabics, white dial, jubilee. Looks wonderful on you - nicely proportioned on your wrist

Now my hunt for a black dial 79260 or 270 continues alone!

As we speak, my husband has taken the watch to his basement/tool mecca and is in the process of removing the permanent link. I don't want to look.

Okay, the deed is done. Permanent link removed from the 6 o'clock side. Watch is now quite comfortable and hugs the wrist firmly, but not too tightly. Flop factor = zero.

Clasp nicely centered.

Here are the tools used. Kind of scary!

Here is the tool user.

While he was at it, he decided to really give his SD a good winding. This oughtta do it.

Dan, it's amazing what a difference a good bracelet fit makes in wearability. I don't like a loose watch. The bracelet is mucho comfortable.

PS - now Dave wants a Tudor....

Tudor Chorno's are finally getting the respect they deserve. Prices on the used market have gone way up over the last few years to reflect this.

As an aside, a friend of mine has one given to him from Tiger Wood with an engraving on the back from Tiger to him. He said Tiger had boxes of them. My friend had done some work for him in his Orlando home.

That is very interesting! Let's hope Tiger has a garage sale soon.

Agreed that a proper fit is so key. I had the maestro at my local RSC do some fine tuning on my Sub and Pepsi bracelets. Removed a permanent link on the latter. The fit is so much better on each / centered clasps and all. What a difference.

Gutsy move letting Dave bust of the link! Alls well that ends well tho!

He's pretty handy when he wants to be. I must say, I owe him for this.
