I bought a GMT master today from an AD dealer but the box didn't contain a book about the watch. Only a warranty card. is it normal?

Not normal. But it's not really a big deal, just go back to the dealer and ask for the booklets. There should be 3. One for the GMT functions, one for factory service details, and one small green one for the worldwide service locations.
