Z series certificate

I was wondering with Z series Datejust I just got. I looked at the certificate and I dont see a country code like some websites mention. Supposedly a 3 digit code preceding the serial number.
I also noticed my serial number doesnt identify anything mentioned on other sites as well. Such as model number and following three digits.
Mine starts Z671XXX, which a website that identifies rollie serial numbers identifies this watch as a lady's datejust but it is clearly a mans model.
Did they change something with the Z serials or did I just get cheated?

I see you're in LA. Watches bound for the U.S. market do not have a country code. I want to say the change occured some time in the mid 80s or so.

Thanks!
