D seial Daytona
Does anyone out there have a ballpark figure of what a D serial, white dial, SS Daytona should be going for these day? Assuming all boxes and papers are included and that the watch is in 90% or better.
thanks guys! |

Agree. Definitely over MSRP, even used. $9k plus is spot on!

Since it is 2 years old, used, I'd say 8,600.
Had it been a 16520 much more!

I can't figure it out either. Seems like there are more WTB ads than FS ads.

Well, I never really thought about buying one due to the price. Not to say the watch is not worth every penny because it is amazing, just not in my budget at this time. However, if I can get one at a good price maybe I can justify it!

I hear you on that, 100%. Nevermind that I don't really CARE for the Daytona...I just can't see myself paying OVER MSRP for anything. Is that weird?

Have to agree, I don't like and usually won't pay MSRP for any large ticket item much less more than MSRP. However, when Supply and demand and market conditions exist it happens all the time |

I love the Daytona. I don't mind paying above list since I can get all my money back and maybe more if I sell.

walds11, I see you recently purchased Daytona, can I ask where you got it from or where should I look to buy one. I'm planning to buy one coming November, any tips??

I think the Daytona is pretty cool, but I've never wanted one. Guess it's good I don't have a fever for one because I also would never pay over msrp for it either. My ex-BIL was a real Rolex collector and had both a SS and a 18kt one with the alligator strap. Nice watch, but not my taste. Course at the time, I had no idea that SS daytonas were so desirable to some people.
