Linz, Austria, Ro-Times

Just got a Kermit Bertolli from a dealer I hadn't known before, but who has proven highly knowledgeable, professional and with perfect service, so I thought I'd drop a note here recommending Daniel, owner of Ro-Times in Linz. As you probably know fishing for Kermits is a high risk operation, I walked away from several almost done deals for various reasons before this, Daniel provided me with a perfect piece in a 100% enjoyable operation, with immaculate papers.

I just noticed that Zaf Basha has an incorrect affiliation listed. He is at: classicwatch.com and a great resource often overlooked.

That is correct about Jacek, and I notice that corrections to list are not made.
See Zaf Basha above. He is at classic watch.com, not where he is listed.

A great vintage dealer is Bulang & Sons. I have made two purchase from them and their customer service is second to none. They have a limited selection, however, what they have is very nice.

Agreed! I have yet to purchase a piece from them but they have been extremely helpful in terms of responding to all my queries!

I know he’s be mentioned here before, but I just had an amazing experience with Andrew Shear from Sheartime. Fantastic experience in every single regard. Highly recommend him!

Hi! Newbie here but found out about the forums from my brother who is a big Rolex guy. I just bought a vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual from recaro18 (Ricky) and he was an absolute class act. Very communicative, sent me loads of pictures and information, and treated me as well as if I was buying a Daytona. Highly recommend!

Hi,

Very disappointing experience with Oliver and Clarke.
Watch delivered with a caseback not sealed properly, completely wrong spring bars (one that would not even hold to the watch), and dial/movement assembly not holding properly to the case (dial moving when manipulating the crown).
On top of that, a crack in the tritium of the hour hand, not verbally disclosed. Seller states it was visible on pictures which was not the case…
Would not recommend this dealer.

Wow, just wow. Sorry to hear about your experience!

Did they at least make things right?

Any more color on this one? I've been eyeing a watch they have for a few weeks now and was considering reaching out for more info and to setup a meet (since I'm local in LA). What sort of piece was it? What kind of disclosure did they give / what questions did you ask?

I love this thread. I am wanting to sell my vintage 1966 Rolex Oysterdate, so these references are perfect. Thank you!

I sent pics to 3 different vintage watch dealers that were posted, and then I listed it on Chrono24 (it's waiting to be approved). Anybody have any luck posting their vintage watch on Chrono24? First time I'm using this site.
