Certainly does seem something a little suspect here. The seller does have a positive feedback recently on selling a Rolex. But the feedback has come surprisingly quickly for a sale that ended just 4 days ago, so he paid for it and it shipped and he has already had it verified by a jeweler. I don't think so....
The "positive" feedback coming from this listing http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_674wt_1132 was also copied from here http://webcache.googleusercontent.co....google.com.au I think ebay need to validate both of these listings at the very least. Great find Norm....... |

I agree with the feedback 4 days after sale - jewler verified.
The seller states: "please allow 5 business days handling time for shipping; no returns accepted; Only serious bidder please;"

item number 130531751041 was reported by me. This guy is a FRAUD look at his "rolex sales" in his feedback under "feedback as a seller" The item ended June 12 and the person who "bought" it left feedback only 2 hours later!
He supposedly sold this 1991 Sub no date for $2150 -HAHAHAHAHA!and he took it from HERE: this: http://cgi.ebay.com/130532466115?ru=...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 STOLE THE PICS FROM HERE: http://newjersey.craigslist.org/jwl/2378203970.html Im glad to see its just not me who is on to this guy. I feel bad if he has ripped anyone off lately... |

I doubt Ebay is actively chasing these guys.
I have reported an ebayer that sold at least 5 "high end" fake Rolex under 5 different id. Ebay had all the information on this guy but didn't do anything. They just don't care... |

I have to agree that eBay does not care... I even suspect them they quietly tolerate shill biding because it generates them more money....

I would take a contra view to that. If they did not care we would have little to no success in having items removed and sellers deactivated.
Staff at ebay are not "experts" on the huge range of items that they have listed and they do appreciate input from others where and when appropriate. So please keep these reports coming in here...... |

I agree that they are not experts and they remove most of the reported items.
But that's all they do. I called them a few months ago to report a guy who was selling on and on fake Rolexes. They just told me that the reported items will be removed, but the seller won't have his account closed. |
