Choosing Fat Font Insert

I have found some inserts to replace my cracked RSC one, i was wondering if anyone could help me choose the most appropriate/oldest version ...

Its for a 1960 5512... this here

I am choosing between these:
I am most interested in the 1st , 4th and 5th starting from the left...

Here are the 4th and 5th from left in detail:
THANKS!

Hard to tell from the pics, but I like the look of the 5th, 4th, and 6th ones, in that order.

At the risk of upsetting Conrail and Jason the numeral 5 at the 50 marker? The open loop appears quite large and also starts quite high up, this is IMHO though.

Whats wrong with the 5?
(And i take it you mean in insert 5 too, the one on right in pic of 2...)

You think its too open? So are we saying not legit or still talking period correctness here?

YES i want it for the year 1960/1961 period, or as close to it as possible...so afaik the flat 4s came a bit later..again afaik I needed to look for number 4's with only 3 corners on the inside, and with as close to 3 corners on the outside as possible, with the doubl figures digits as close to touching as poss..

Yes, IMHO I feel it is too open and the middle flat starts too high, I don't have my ref books at work but I was expressing an interest in a certain 'tropical' on another forum in which it ended up the seller got burned after getting a thumbs up from 4/5 experienced dealers, only 1 other dealer questioned it. He withdrew the post for further investigation and it has not been reposted for a considerable period since. I am unsure as to period but further research highlights questionable bezel inserts A dealer on here also posted on the other forum declaring that the font was incorrect and highlighted other issues. The font appears (as far as my eyes can tell) the same as that in insert No 5 I have sent the OP the link in order that he can continue researching in order to either disprove or inform me otherwise.

OK so thanks to stunner's links insert n.5 has fallen into 'questionable' territory and seeing as these things can be expensive burns ill safely disregard that one...

SO Whats the consensus on n.4? (from left or the 1st one on left in pic of 2)

Scunner!
But glad the links helped!!!
I would rather be proved wrong than you be out of pocket
The fact that other bezel inserts are displayed in the same phot would make me tread carefully on the rest from that source!
