Relative amount of white & black SS Daytona

Whats the relative amount of produced white and black dials for the new SS Daytona (116520)?

The old 16520 had: white=high, black=low

I think that will be a tough question to answer, but as far as I have been told, the BLACK faced Daytona was / is made in fewer numbers, and the waiting list is longer for it, too.

i believe that nobody can now for sure and the think with the daytona is just a marketing trap. They produce few numbers so that people think that it is something exclusive or god knows what. Also most of the people that are wearing rolex watches don't have a clue about their watch. I know a guy that owns a sub date and he didnt knew that his watch was a submariner until i told him. That's so ridiculous.

I have been offered far more black face SS than white face SS Daytonas.

Always at a premium though. Kiss my ar$e.

I was told this (i.e. that the BLACK is harder to get and requires longer waiting list) the last time when I visited Bucherer in Berlin. I guess they should know, but again they might be wrong. Wempe told me the same thing, though.

Thank you guys!

A saleswoman at my AD told me the waitinglist is longer for the black dial.

It's possible. They are selling the black at a higher premium over here.

2 ADs around here said they see more white ones than black dials. I have passed on 2 whites waiting for my black one.
