Was offered a Pam 317 yesterday......

What to do? its from an AD, new, sticker price.

a lot of cash, but a BEAUTIFUL watch (i played with a demo a few years ago).


not sure i'll ever get this chance again.....

If you love it, then GO FOR IT! I wouldn't buy simply based on the fact that you think you can or can't get the chance down the road. There are few PAM's (mainly vintage) that I can think of that are incredibly hard to come by.

if its the K serial..that would be hard to pass on..but its a lot of dough for a piece...

Only the K serial has the PVD movement...L on is smoked sapphire on the back...

so i passed on it.....

but now a different local AD has another! and it has the pvd movement.

guess they are either becoming more common or i just got lucky twice?

Get the K, pvd movement is extremely difficult to make - or says Panerai - but I believe them. The smoked crystal is a nice idea, but for that kind of price tag, seems like they are taking the easy way out.
