My Dad is an Exotic Dancer........

One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their
fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up...

mechanic, businessman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, chief engineer, and so
forth.

However, little Justin was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his father, he finally replied....

Okay...my father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and stay with him all night for money. The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and then took little Justin aside to ask him....

'Is that really true about your father?'

'No', the boy said, 'He actually works for the Democratic National Committee and helped get Barack Obama elected President last year, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the class.

Obama is out president...I am not sure what about this fact threatens them...but the extreme right wing just can't handle it...sad really. They would rather have an incompetent bumbling fool who drove the economy into the ground, and started a war based on lies then to admit that a black man can be the commander in chief.

But I guess I should not be too surprised given the fact that this opinion is coming from W. Texas.

Humour cuts both ways, so take a deep breath and learn to laugh. You do know in all your wisdom and enlightment, you demeaned a member, a state, and citizens of that state. Rather telling I might add.

I am from Texas, and proud of it, but I know how extreme right wing West Texas is...that is why it does not surprise me that this sentiment comes from there...that is all I was saying. I am not sure how that is demeaning...unless you consider me calling someone "extreme right wing" demeaning.

My problem is not that someone does not like Obama, it would be pretty boring if we all thought the same way. As an FYI, I am actually more of a centrist and believe that McCain would have made a fine president as well (minus Palin, of course). I just have a problem with the utter hatred being shown to Obama. He has been in office a little over nine months now. The only basis of hating him right now are pre-concieved notions. Lets give him a chance...there will be lots of time to hate him if he actually f's up.
