Hi guys,
I promise I did a search.
Curious to see your nicely aged PCLs. Anyone have some with several years worth of wear? I'm not looking for crazy destruction, just an idea of what they look like once they get a bit of a patina to them.

She's 14 years old, I've had for a few months, upon fitting my AD did a one-over free polish on it, but to make it "perfect" I'll need to have them do the entire piece - Don't want to be without for three weeks right now (when I get another Rolex!) - Plus, she's in great condition, as is.

The whole PCL scratch thing is waaaaay overblown if you ask me. I wear my GMTIIC all the time for EVERYTHING and it looks great. They are not delicate little pieces of 10,000 year old paper, its still freaking steel for goodness sakes.

Too many people baby these watches and think they are supposed to look brand new FOREVER. Wear them, PCLs and all and enjoy.

Thanks for the pictures so far guys. I thought this thread would make a good visual reference for me and others that are curious about PCL wear.

I worried about scratching the PCL's when I first got my watch....soon realized it was taking all the fun out of wearing the watch. Now I just wear it and dont' worry. It can always be polished at service, but I suspect I'll leave as is and treat it as the tool watch it was meant to be.

DJ from 1997. Wore it on a daily basis for about eight years. Once you get enough scratches, they tend to "smooth" each other out, and you don't even notice.

Love the scratch..did this one about one week after buying it. Wear in good health and quit worring about scratches everyone!
