Rolex 6564 question
I am looking at a mid-fifties 6564 at an upcoming auction. However, I am unsure of the mechanical condition at this time and would like to know if there are any quick and dirty checks I can do during the auction preview and if need be who/where would I send it if it needs more intensive repairs/restoration? Finally, what would be a good ballpark to keep in mind during bidding for repairs (worst case scenario)?
Chances are some ya-hoo will end up getting Rolex-happy with his paddle but I figured it'd be worth asking some experts. Thanks |

Thanks Kyle l
Another question... Would a RSC work on something like this? It seems like a friend of mine said that they won't work on anything once it hits a certain age. Thanks |

No, the RSC will not work on a watch this old. I'd pay under $800 for this watch, the dial is refinished & relumed, & there's no bracelets. By the way, welcome to TRF
