vintage ladie's Rolex
Back in 1968 I went to my Rolex AD to get my wife a special Christmas gift. He had only this one lady's Rolex with diamonds in stock. I paid the outrageous sum of $1700, as I remember ( about the cost of a Volkswagen! ). A year or so later I added the diamond bracelet for another $500. She has worn this watch since I gave it to her except when it was sent off for service ages ago now. She winds it daily and it gains approximately 2 minutes a day. She loves it and it is beautiful on her arm. I just thought you fellow Rolex enthusiasts would like to see and "oldie, but goodie"! Cheers, Bill P.

Bill - Thanks for sharing. What kind of bracelet did it have before you added the diamonds?

The watch came with a dainty black cord-like black strap with a white gold clasp. It was very pretty; however, with the diamonds on the watch, it really needed the diamond bracelet, we thought. My wife loves diamonds and has enjoyed it all these years. Cheers, Bill P.
