First, welcome to TRF Carlos.

Second, if the only reason you have arrived at this site is to sell a watch/s, you're in the wrong place.
For a start, there are rules and requirements in place before you can even start to offer anything....You can not offer or infer a sale outside the FS section for a start.
You may want to take the time to read through the rules and guidelines before continuing.

Third, being a newbie without references will make it even harder for people to trust you.

Take the time to contribute to the forum first..Build a reputation as a member and take the time to settle in.
Just a friendly suggestion!

Sounds good I have been reading the rules quite thoroughly :) And I realize i cannot sell or post in that section of the forum and that's fine gives me time to educate my self more on what I have to offer which is good! :). One question though all the reading I've done I have not seen a section were some one can help me appraise a watch, I guess i want to know if such thing is possible and if so could you point me i the right direction? thank in advance and thank for the welcome to the forum!

well 1) if you are sure its real post in rolex general discussion ( better response there) or here
2) If you are not sure post it in the Watchout section as if it fake or dubious the mods will remove the post from elsewhere

My strong recommendation is that you settle in a bit and stop simply pushing to get your watches up for sale and valued.

With all due respect he as asked about the rules and correct way to do things. New members do not always realise how friendly and accommodating this forum is and take a while to learn and respect the 'ways of the forum.

Chris - A point needed to be made and it was.

So this is clear:

The member was given advice early on in the thread from another moderator.

The key message in there was to take time to settle in and not continue to make his initial posts about selling his watches or related questions - this includes requesting any appraisals on the items or rules concerning this.

The member has since heeded that advice and is now posting elsewhere on other subjects not related to his sale items.

TRF has a clear policy on this and it is our role to ensure that we preserve the integrity of the forum as far as possible.

Well said Dalip! If all new members simply took time to read rules first a lot of headaches would be removed! With that welcome to TRF!!

I am not denying or contradicting the wonderful job and hard work you guys do here.
Yet i feel one can tell the difference between someone who is genuinely interested in rolex not only asking things about values and selling , as opposed to someonewho is just here for a fast buck and to use and abuse the forum. The OP stated his intention to abide by the rules.
The search function on this forum can be pretty useless at times and a forum can hard to navigate when new.
As you said Rob made the point clealy and concisely i see no need to gang up on a new member ( by repeating the same thing ( and not excatly in a nice manner) 3 or more times) who is TRYING to understand and learn about the forum as he stated. Things like that are why people have or will leave or join other forums. That is all. Patience can sometimes be a virtue
