They should be the same.. The only real difference is the movement.. the 16800 has a 3035 and the 16610 introduced the 3135 movement.
The 168000 bridged the gap because the 3135 was not ready; so the 904 steel cases were stamped to show that they were "different", then, when the new movements were ready, they stamped 16610
